Quality is our first priority.

First Article’s Quality Control department inspects every part before it is released to the customer.  We have a highly trained Quality Control staff, with coverage on all shifts.  Every batch of parts receives a first piece inspection, in-process inspections, and a final inspection before being released.  We also implement “roving inspection” to randomly verify parts in production, and to coach our employees’ in-process inspection skills.

Quality Assurance proactively prevents nonconformances by fine-tuning our company’s procedures, work instructions, and practices.  Quality Assurance focuses on our production processes and supports our culture of continuous improvement, and manages our rigorous quality management system. 

We are certified to ISO 13485:2016 and comply with all FDA regulations in 21 CFR 820!

The company boasts a Keyence imaging system, several large optical comparators, a programmable Zeiss coordinate measuring machine (or “CMM”), and all sorts of other gaging and measuring devices.
